About the Further Skills course October 9th-10th (weekend)
If you would like to develope you skills with your digital camera and have some photographic adventures outside, this course will be fun and inspiring.
Over the two days we will fine tune your camera knowledge to further
improve light and colour results so you depend less on Photoshop for
improvements [we will still use Photoshop to explore other exciting things to do
with images].
Having a good grasp of composition allows you to get more enjoyment out of
your camera. To improve your composition skills we will select various subjects
and explore them with a variety of viewpoints to see how different angles and
the play of light transform them.
About the Beginners course. (this course was held in May and will be offered again next year)
If you have a digital camera and would like to learn more about it
and how to take better pictures, Nick can help.
The course is designed to show beginners how to cope with different
light conditions in this stunning landscape;to capture water rushing
in
the river, galloping horses or the magic of a moonlit night.
Nick conveys his enthusiasm for exploring the creative side of
photography. The different functions of the camera are explained and
how the shutter speed,aperture and ISO relate to each other.
The course will cover ligh conditions,composition and and offer an
introduction to improving images on a computer (Adobe Photoshop).
