Woodcut Printmaking.

 Veronica will explain the technique of woodcut printmaking and give demonstrations. You will learn a new skill and understand this beautiful form of printmaking.

Veronica has taught courses here for several years and being a practicing artist, she teaches with great passion for her subject.

In 2006 Veronica obtained an Arts Council Wales Grant to take an ‘Advanced Support Printmaking Course’ at Swansea Print Workshop. She specialised in Woodcut Printmaking and Etching.

During this time she bought a set of Bert Isaac Woodcut prints and her work has been influenced by their vitality. She uses this collection and examples of her own work when teaching.

Veronica draws and paints from Nature and she develops her drawings into prints.

  Veronica’s first Woodcut print is now in the collection of the Contemporary Art Society for Wales.
